A cardinal principle in the equation of human relationships is that all members of every human community should learn to care deeply about themselves and about other members of the community, as well as to act in ways that are supportive of the vital interests of all. Wise ones have said that among the most important ingredients in the formula for a successful and fulfilling life is knowing how to get along with people.

Shaykh Sayyed Muhammad Al Ninowy visits Jamaa Khaana in Mbkweni, Wellington

Published by Nakhlistan on Tuesday, 14 December 2010

Shaykh Al Ninowy is the guest of Habibia Soofie Mosque and graciously accepted the invitation extended by Nakhlistan to visit our Jamaa Khaana in Wellington. This process was requested by Sheikh Hamied, initiated by Sheikh Sa'Dullah and confirmed by Hafiz Faizel Firfirey of Habibia Soofie Mosque.

As the Shaykh entered the Jamaa Khaana the young boys rendered a Qasidah and it was done in the same spirit as when our Holy Prophet [SAW] entered Madina, when the young children welcomed him with song.

The programme was short, yet filled with purpose. Sheikh Hamied, Spiritual Leader of the Jamaa Khaana, led the Jamaah in Thikr after which Shaykh Al Ninowy, rendered a Naseegha.

The Shaykh's words were simple. He spoke about the importance of children and family and ended with the words that if you love what Prophet Mughamad [SAW] loved, then you will love Allah. After this, in a tear invoking moment, two young boys took Shahaadah with Shaykh Al Ninowy. The Shaykh named them Abubakr and Umar. As the Shaykh left the Jamaah Khaana, he told Shukoor Mowzer to keep up with the good work and never ignore the poor and the needy.

My External Hifz Examination by M. Zuhair Khan

Published by Claremont Main Road Mosque on Wednesday, 8 December 2010

Preparing for the external examinations was challenging as it clashed with the school exams, however this did not deter me.  Knowing that the external examiner was Shaykh Sa'dullah Khan made me anxious.
