60 Second Read: The Scary thing about Fear

We all need small doses of fear to keep us motivated,to give us focus,to create a balance in our lives. The fear of ending up in prison reminds us to obey the law,the fear of wasting our lives leads us to achieve more every single day.The scary thing about fear is that we usually give it more credit than it deserves. This occurs when we allow our fears to control our lives,to dictate the limits to which we can progress & eventually to stop us from truly living.

    A Pond of Milk

Once there was a king who told some of his workers to dig a pond. Once the pond was dug, the king made an announcement to his people saying that one person from each household has to bring a glass of milk during the night and pour it into the pond. So, the pond should be full of milk by the morning. After receiving the order, everyone went home. One man prepared to take the milk during the night. He thought that since everyone will bring milk, he could just hide a glass of water and pour inside the pond.

    The Best of Both Worlds

Everyone has a list of things they would like to achieve, either in the near or distant future. We have dreams & ambitions, hopes and fears;some realistic and others just a figment of our imagination. So while all mankind is equal in the fact that everyone is always seeking something, the human race can be broken down into two broad categories;those people who have the desire to attain objects of this world only and others who aim to achieve the bounties of both this world and the next.
