    Islamic Trust hosts event

There will be loads of fun to look forward to at the Country Manor as the Cape Town Education Islamic Trust (CTEIT) hosts its first annual eat 'n treat on Friday 18 November. The trust is a branch from the Darul Ulum Centre in Pretoria and have courses that run for three years each with subjects such as Dawah, Tajweed and recitation of the Holy Quran.

"Although we say it takes three years for these courses to be completed we find that it differs from individual to individual. Some learners require the full three years while others can do the course in two," said Maulana Sayed Emraan one of the trust members. Emraan said after the basic course is completed there are further studying options such as the imaam course which takes three years of studying, while the alim course requires six years of studying. Both these directions can only be certified once you pass your final exams.
